To coincide with the celebration of their 40th anniversary, Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island is hosting a family friendly Rib Fest.

For 3 days of family-fun, it will be an event filled with delicious food, amazing live entertainment on two stages filled with local musical talent, and plenty of games for the kids.

Please mark your calendars for the following dates:

August 14 & 15 (Friday & Saturday): From 11am to 9pm
August 16 (Sunday): From 11am to 7pm

As Canada’s leading youth mentoring charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island facilitates life-changing relationships that inspire and empower children and youth to reach their potential, both as individuals and citizens.

By participating in Montreal RibFest, you are helping us make a positive difference in the lives of our community’s youth.Proceeds from the Montreal RibFest will support the Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring programs that are offered to the community at no charge.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island has been creating friendships since 1975 by matching mentors known as “Big Brothers or Big Sisters” with children known as “Little Brothers and Little Sisters”. Services have grown to include a variety of different programs that help children develop into upstanding citizens. Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island is a non-profit organization, receiving funding from Centraide as well as West Island Community Shares and from the general public, like you, who participate and help at various fundraising activities throughout the year.

This 1st Ribfest in Montreal, as presented by Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island, is bring you 5 professional BBQ Pit Masters, to satisfy that summer craving that this foodie starved city loves.

Eat, drink, be merry, and take in the sights and the music, with all proceeds going back into the community.

Everyone is encouraged to attend. Bring your hunger, bring your tastebuds, but most of all bring a smile knowing that like Big Brothers Big Sisters, you’ll be supporting local.
